Flower clip

May PTI's blog hop theme is FLOWERS!!
I had been tempted to do some flower clips but didn't seem to have the right fabrics. My daughter's school has the students wearing uniform shirts. She had a really old one, so instead of throwing it away, I cut it up and used my PTI flower dies to make her a clip!! Added a cute button from my PTI stash!
I made two different ones. One with a flower and one with a button. I think they turned out so cute!! I just cut out a felt (PTI) circle and used it on the bottom.
Sorry for the bad picture, I had to take it with my phone :(
Thanks for stopping by!!!

HB

On this card, which I made for another friend named Carol. I used some goodies that I got from my friend Molly on the Valentine Exchange that Michelle organized. That was really fun :)

My ink and sentiment are from PTI and the pp is from BG~Urban Prairie. The ribbon I got from Walmart.

I used the sketch from Clean & Simple FTL 132.

I made her some magnets as part of her gift. I used the pp from BG and the frame from Fillable Frames from PTI. I cut out the bird.

Thanks for looking and have a GREAT DAY!!

ps: its getting really hot here in Florida :0

Hello Sunshine

Hello Friends!

I made a card for a friend last week and wanted to make another one just for fun! I used my pp from BasicGrey~Urban Prairie. Beautiful papers by the way :) The pink flower was made from a PTI flower die and outer flower was made from the spellbinders big scallop die. I also used the banner die from PTI and one of their yummy buttons! The sentiment is from the Fillable Frames collection. I cut out the butterfly from the pp. Simple yet so pretty, if I do say so myself ;)

I was somehow inspired by Gretchen's card HERE! She's always making beautiful cards!!

Baby Shower

Last weekend I was invited to a babyshower. I knew I wanted to "make" her a gift. Of course I bought her some cute boy outfits but then I knew I wanted to use my number dies from PTI. So I went with making 12 tags. One for each month before he reached his first birthday. I used mostly scraps :) Mostly everything was PTI.

I was inspired by Shari's card from Hero Arts. My paper piecing was inspired by Moxie Fab World's Stamp it! Technique's Week: Paper Piecing Challenge.

For month 9 I used Leo from Jane. Super cute!!!

Thanks for looking!!

My First Blog Award

Some days ago the fab Lynn from Miller's Ink sent me this award! I have to share 8 things about me.

1. I live in a very small town.
2. I have a 9 year old (almost 10) daughter and a 4 year old son.
3. I started scrapbooking back when I was 18!
4. I started to make cards about 3 years ago!
5. My husband and I own 2 businesses (with the economy, its very hard).
6. My Mom taught me how to crochet back when I was in my early teens.
7. I am fluent in Spanish and English.
8. I love to clean, but I don't like cooking.

I'm to pass this to 8 wonderful ladies but I'm not sure to whom. I'm sure they already have it :) Everyone in the crafting hobby is so nice and talented!!

PTI Anniversary Tag Download

So this week PTI is celebrating 4 years!! Congrats!
For today, Nichole has a free download on some tags her designers made just for us. We are to create a card with those. I am terrible at coloring and my printer is out of color ink (just found out) :( So I colored the image that Lisa designed. Here is the link for today's PTI post.

I finally got a chance to make a card! Well I needed one for my SIL, she lost her Grandmother last week. My inspiration was from Moxie Fab World Gray Is The New Black. I really didn't want to use black on the card so I took all the great inspiration from that post and made this card, please check it out.

Happy 2011

Just wanted to wish everyone a fabulous 2011!!
I want to focus on my family and friends. To get my anxiety under control and continue to be healthy and happy! Its hard when you have 2 businesses but we CAN do it!!
I haven't had much chance to create cards (I only gave 2 Christmas cards) and had an order for 3.
I would love to get back on track to creating more!!
Thank You God for letting us be healthy and happy!!

On another note:

Really Reasonable Ribbon has an anniversary blog candy! Here.

And Lisa at PaperGrace Designs for her 100th post. Congrats!
