I haven't been able to make any cards lately :(

But I wanted to post some cards that I made in while in Texas with my SIL.

I only took a couple of things on the trip, but we managed to make some cards and craft together! I basically just took my PTI supplies.

I also wanted to post today so that I would have a post on my birthday!

I love my daughter (9 years) and my son (4 years)!! And I'm so grateful for my husband, love him tons!! Thank God that we are all healthy!! We now enjoy a lot of the little things in life!

Also gratefull for my family that is always round with us!! My mom, sister, and everyone else!!

I'm Back...

online, that is! Finally we got back our internet! I went to Texas in the summer with my two kiddos and stayed for a month! Relaxing and very fun. We stayed my husband's twin and his family. Shout out to my SIL Erika. Got her hooked on stamping and PTI :)

Well, I have done some cards but well post some later.

I have been getting on the coupons lately and Michelle Philippi has a post about it in her blog. Can't believe you can get a lot of things for FREE!!! Go check it out!!

FTL 95

My Goddaughter's birthday was in June. This is the card I made for her. I used Clean & Simples's FTL 95. I love the colors together!! Very fun for her age. All supplies are PTI except the teal paper and the black ribbon.

Color Cue & PTPD#11

Hi everyone! First of all, I couldn't get a decent picture! Sorry!! I tried and tried. Oh well. This one was the best of the bunch :)

This little set is for a set of pictures that I printed out to give to the Mom from her babyshower. Just got a couple of PTI sets from ebay. And I used them right away!

The colors are from Dawn's Color Cue. The colors look great together!! On the Papertrey Paper Doll #11 challenge blog this time is to make a card that is not 5.5 x 4.25. So I made mine 3x3.

This card I made for my nephew's little baby! He's so cute and small! I used CAS-tastic CWC009 to use blue, yellow, and natural. Perfect for a little boy, I think! So then I used Papertrey Paper Dolls challenge #10 for the sketch.

WMSC3 & Embellish Magazine

Another theme I don't have a stamp for. Or so I thought! I have Inkadinkado Brenda Walton's Baby Boy set that I got from Michael's. I even did some baby shower invites for my SIL. Well I used WMSC3 for my sketch. Then I used Embellish Magazine color challenge with a baby theme. I really want to get a baby stamp set from PTI or W Plus 9 but haven't had a chance to place an order lately! So here is my card.

JUGS38 & EBTKS17

Its been almost a week since I made a card! So I went with something really simple :) I combined two challenges for this card. JUGS38 (make a card with brown, light pink, and cream). EBTKS17 (a sketch challenge). I'll add the sentiment later.

Its Your Day

I don't have any Father's Day stamps, so I used the sentiment from PTI's Star Prints (close enough). Since I wanted to use my mat pad from K&C, I thought this was the perfect time ;) I used Mercy's MTSC #77 for my layout. This card also qualifies for the CARDS challenge. For CAS-tastics CWC 008 they also want Father's Day theme cards! Its always hard for me to make masculine cards but I think it turned out ok.

PS: Its been really, really HOT here in Florida (high 90s) but it feels like 100s!!

I wanted to make a card for CAS-tastic Challenge CWC007 to have buttons on a project. Check. Then for Pals Paper Arts PPA46 is a color challenge. I don't have any inks in those colors but I have a Welcome Neighbor DSP pad from SU! with those colors. Thanks to Tiffany! Check.

Here is my card for SSSC72 from Karen's Blog. I used my nesties for my labels and K&Company mat pad. The twine and button are from PTI along with the Star Prints stamp set for the sentiments. Black versafine ink.

FTL 91

I used Clean&Simple FTL 91 to make my card for today. I went to WalMart and they had a sale of a lot of things. I found this 12x12 paper mat from MS. Very pretty pastels (mostly pinks).

Sorry my card looks a little funny. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the ink and flower die are from PTI.

SSSC 71

I've made a lot of cards lately but just haven't posted them. I just made this one today. Its for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #71 I put the sketch on the side. Since I don't have any ovals, I used the Mat Stack 1. I was finally able to order For the Graduate from PTI and just recieved it this week. Thanks for looking!

CWC003

CAS-tastic Challenge #3 http://cas-tasticchallenges.blogspot.com/2010/05/cwc003-cas-cards-with-circles.html is to make a creation with circles. I got out my Dot Spot set from PTI! I used colors from PTI and SU! My sentiment is from the Birthday Basic set from PTI stamped in VersaFine onyx black. My white CS and ribbon (I just love this color) is from Michaels!
